I have written and recorded this song to raise awareness of domestic abuse with the view that one day women, children and men will stand up to bullying and the bullies will be dealt with according to the Law. No one should ever have to feel undermined, emotionally enslaved, trapped or unwillingly dominated and this song is a reminder that we have the strength to stick together and there is always someone available to help. None of us are alone.

lyrics
I broke my nose,
Walking into you,
We could have talked it out but we never do.
What do I tell them?
Do I say I'm hurting myself a lot?
Or do I speak nothing at all,
And hope I get shot?
If you don't know what it's like,
Let me show you,
It's like a burning sensation in my mouth,
Stuck to washing dishes,
Making wishes,
In the hope that I'll be free to make decisions,
And you'll see all the incisions in my body are not me,
They were put there by him,
After every drink he'd sink his teeth in my skin.
What do I tell them?
Do I say I'm hurting myself a lot?
Or do I speak nothing at all,
And hope I get shot?
What do I tell them?
Do I say I'm hurting myself a lot?
Or do I speak nothing at all,
And hope I get shot?
If you don't know what it's like,
Let me show you,
It's like a burning sensation in my mouth,
Stuck to washing dishes,
Making wishes,
In the hope that I'll be free to make decisions,
And you'll see all the incisions in my body are not me,
They were put there by him,
After every drink he'd sink his teeth in my skin.
What do I tell them?
Do I say I'm hurting myself a lot?
Or do I speak nothing at all,
And hope I get shot?
Or do I speak nothing at all,
And hope I get shot?
Or do I speak nothing at all?
